A quick introduction

I am a South African actor and voice-over artist with more than 25 years of professional experience. I work with both SA and international clients. I am native speaker of Afrikaans and South African-accented English. I have also been in tertiary education and training for over a decade. I am based in Cape Town, South Africa with a professional recording studio a stone’s throw from my home.

I hold a Master’s degree in English Literature researching Storytelling in Virtual Reality. As an actor, I perform in award-winning Virtual Reality theatre projects, such as  The MetaMovie Presents: Alien Rescue and Symbiosis/Dysbiosis. 

I am a trained puppeteer and storyteller. I write: my own Medium articles on the process of acting in Virtual Reality, I wrote XR Theatre reviews for XRMust magazine, spoken word poetry, branching narrative stories for the smart speaker industry, among other (creative) writing pursuits. Most recently I am exploring GenAI, vibe-coding AI agents and  VR Training & Immersive Education, using Gaussian Splatting, AI and VR.
